The Pantheon in Rome is a premier ancient Roman temple, originally built by Marcus Agrippa around 27–25 BC and completely rebuilt by Emperor Hadrian between 118–125 AD. Famous for its massive concrete dome and central oculus, it was converted into a church in 609 AD, ensuring its survival as the best-preserved monument from ancient Rome.
